Morris & Dickson Announces Vinu V. Pillai as Chief Compliance and Regulatory Officer
Morris & Dickson today announces that Vinu V. Pillai has joined the company as its chief compliance and regulatory officer. In this role, Pillai will have responsibility for Morris & Dickson’s overall compliance and regulatory functions including ethics management, risk management, suspicious order monitoring, Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) oversight, regulatory oversight and licensing, and he will report to Jody Hatcher, president and CEO.
“Vinu brings more than 20 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical and medical device companies, and he has a strong track record of sound ethical conduct and professional judgment,” says Hatcher. “We have invested heavily in growing and strengthening our compliance systems at Morris & Dickson in recent years. Having Vinu join us in this role underscores our continued commitment and focus.”
Pillai previously served as the assistant general counsel at Alto Pharmacy based in San Francisco. Prior to that, he held multiple senior legal and compliance roles at a variety of healthcare companies, including Pear Therapeutics, DaVita, and Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen). He earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at George Washington University.
