Update on Morris & Dickson’s Ongoing Discussion with DEA: Business continues as usual; DEA license remains active

Morris & Dickson is grateful to the DEA Administrator for delaying the effective date of the Order to allow time to settle these old issues, which has been our goal since this started years ago.

In the ensuing time, the company has voluntarily invested millions to revamp its compliance systems and processes, while also bringing in industry leading executives and compliance advisors. This includes two independent audits that have been conducted since this time, including one by the DEA, which found Morris and Dickson’s compliance system to be above reproach.

In the meantime, we will continue to serve and deliver for our customers and suppliers. Business will continue as usual, and orders will continue to go out on time.

We remain confident we can achieve an outcome that safeguards the supply chain for all of our healthcare partners and the communities they serve, as we have for more than 180 years.
