Braden Hunter named M&D Chief Financial Officer

Morris & Dickson, the nation’s largest independent full-line pharmaceutical distributor, has announced the hiring of Braden Hunter as Chief Financial Officer.

Braden brings 20 years of finance leadership experience in revenue, expense, systems and strategy roles. He has a proven track record in driving growth, productivity and process improvement agendas in the healthcare, consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing and retail industries.

“We are thrilled to welcome Braden Hunter to the M&D family,” said Jody Hatcher, CEO of Morris & Dickson. “His financial experience in many industries, including healthcare, will further bolster our financially-strong company.”

Most recently, Braden was a Mergers and Acquisition Consultant with StatLab. Before that, he spent nearly five years at McKesson ascending to the role of VP of Retail Finance. He has also held various finance leadership roles with Toyota, Shamrock Foods Company, PepsiCo Frito-Lay and PwC.

Braden holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University, and a Masters in Management Information Systems from TAMU’s Mays Business School.
